That really kinda sux dude . GM doesnt service that emblem , because replacing it would require taking apart the airbag cover . Tampering with airbags is illegal , given that fact ... a company like GM wouldnt touch it with a 1000 ft pole . Theres no way to get a emblem back on without removing the the air bag from the steering wheel and then removing air bag cover from the body of the air bag . Those emblems are retained by long tabs that go thru slots on the bag cover and then fold over to the backside to retain it if the bag explodes .

 

That looks awesome. I want to do that to mine now. However I don't trust myself painting in the inside of my car. Anyone know how to remove the cap without damaging the steering wheel?
