I mean Ive found Recaro's for like $400 now... THe reg seats seems to go for upper $200's...

haha yea if he is stupid though somebody needs to try and get them if theyre not in bad shape.

 

Where did he get them? We had a cobalt stolen here in Phoenix about 4-5 months ago and they stole the seats out of it, and one wheel. The car had the Recaros up front too. See if the guy has any wheels or anything from the cobalt, or any guages, because they stole and interceptor, wideband, and stock boost guage too.

El Paso is close enough to Phoenix that this guy could have the seats, and a link to the stolen car.

I just emailed him posing as someone interested in them from this shop I did some work at in El Paso. We'll see what he says about it. This would be so sweet if it linked up LOL!

The cops recovered the car and are "still trying to find the theives" as they say. I just figure if he has some of the other stolen property that at least we would know this guy is a thief.

There are no identifiable markings on seats to link them to anything anyhow. It's just out of curiosity and piece of mind.

If they weren't stolen then they guy would be selling them for more what they are worth.

And the fact that guy sounds like he doesn't know much about them shows you that he probably never owned the car.

He hasn't responded yet, but I would doubt he would respond this fast.

He said they were SS Leather seats, they are probably just the basic all black or two-tone leather seats that most SS (2.4 & 2.0) have. $175 is a pretty fair price i suppose, and if he has no use for them why not sell em cheap to get rid of them quick?

yea but the SS/na the seats are bolstered like the 2.0 and like everyone is saying, he doesn;t seen to know much.

 

Really, they have Recaros in the SS/NA LOL. I know the other seats are similar, but to me the RACING bucket seats are the recaros. Otherwise they are just bucket seats. There's nothing special about the normal seats.

 

By racing seats he prolly meant the recaros.

 

Guy just sounds like an idiot, I doubt he has any idea what seats they are
