really cause people i know consider seat witht he side bolsters "racing seats" i know thats not what they are but soem people dont know. do you also have that chip from ebay that gives you 62HP for 5.99. but everyone knows it all. well see what he says when the others get a reply.

 

I've had 4 or 5 people tell me I had "nice racing seats" because of the colored inserts. He could consider them the same.

 

I think he would have mentioned the color of the inserts.

I think you're giving him too much assumed intelligence. Has he ever gotten back to you?

Maybe he's the guy that used to work with my boyfriend. We swapped cars, his co-worker had been in his G85 SS before, got in mine and told him, "Wow, your girlfriend got the racing package and you didn't??? Is her car faster?"

The guy refused to believe that Recaros were the racing seats, because mine "looked racey-er".

Either way, I think it's fishy, but there ARE some incredibly stupid "car" people out there.
