Yup. I had these tails for 18 months already, bought a second pair to modify the inners.

nice so u have a spare set of inners to trash? i honestly like how they came out but... im a bigger fan of the lil leds like how 08ls posted. if i do my own they would be that way

Do you have any pics of where you cut the lights to take them apart? Maybe pics of both the inners and outers sacrificed pieces? I'd like to try this too but looking for any tips you might have before starting.

Nice man! Those are the best double LEDs I've seen, most people use too many LEDs.
