yeah, it pisses me off so much. ha ha. I'm gonna figure something out here. ha ha. I think a load resistor would work, they sell them on superbrightleds.com I've used them a few times and made them work with a few different applications I've done in the past. I'll have to see what I can come up with though. I've got a finished product for my tails but no one to help me photograph them, I'll get them up asap though guys. sorry for the wait.

What's there to come up with? Wire a load resistor in line with the proper circuits and you won't have hyper flash. Easiest thing to do.

I've had the same pair of resistors in my car for 2 years, and they were in my Cavy for 2 years before that. They don't go bad.

ha I know it's easy, I've just got a lot of ehicles to work on at the moment, I've got the cobalt, my truck, my buddies honda civic which needs tons of work, and a totalled 04 accord that needs some work, plus school, and work. ha ha. I'm gonna explode. But my lights are turning out great. I've got the inner tails as running lights, the outter tails and third light as brakes, looks pretty slik. I'll show you guys as soon as I can get another set of hands to photograph them for me.

so is that the only way your wiring is going to be?
or is there any way to make all 4 light on like the ipcw are?
or maby the outers as running than all 4 be brighter for the brakes?

Well as for wiring, that is only limited by the imagination, I'm mostly gonna market these as individual lights, with different wiring ideas on a nice little sheet for users. I prefer how mine are wired, but I'd also be able to send diagrams of how to wire them up different ways to suit different people's needs. so to answer your question, no that's not the only way that these lights will work.

you could wire these as all four running at the same time, inners as running lights, outters as running lights, one outter and one inner as running lights(that'd look terrible ha ha) you could run them however you please. I prefer my design as it's simple, requires no relay or resistor(unless you wana get rid of hyper flash) and is less complicated to troubleshoot if anything goes wrong.

I also wired mine this way as I have a rather dark set of tinted tails. they're nearly black, daytime the brake lights show great, but the running lights are barely showing, but who uses running lights in the day time? ha ha. and the outter tails are naturally brighter, so to me it made more sense to wire them this way as it was the most effective way to signal my intentions to other drivers while still maintaining a slick look and something that no one has ever done on a cobalt before(at least to my knowledge)

and CPTN PANTS, it was your idea that got me started on this whole thing. so I give you mad props for coming up with it in the first place. so thank you! and by all means if you want any help making another set I'd be glad to help.

i realy like how the reverse light is in the center. how hard would it be to make the turn signal in the same spot on the outers?

yea i get the idea.
i just dk if i like hoe the main lights are in the center opposed to the outer.
if it was swapped i might like that mote.
as in the outers be on like with the headlights. than the innters an outers get brighter when the brake

is there any way to make that possible?

Yeah you could most definitely do the outter lights as running and do the inners as brakes and turns,
I'm in elyria ohio bud. Near the chestnut commons and lccc

like the outers as running lights than when you step on the brake the outer and inner get brighter.
also how would the signal be?
