Has anybody hooked up an aftermarket speedo? Curious on how it would communicate with the ECU.

Yes. I used an autometer arctic white gauge and it was actually very simple. Tapped into the VSS signal wire off the PCM and then calibrated it. Works great.

Awesome, I will be going with Speedhut gauges but I assume the hookup will be similar. My concern was how the gauge would interact with the PCM and reading on HPTuners. Thanks for the input!

The interceptor has a Spedo function. Interfaces via the OBDII port.

Besides a replacement boost gauge and a wideband gauge, what is a good 3rd gauge to go with? Thinking about going with AEM for all 3 unless there's a better brand for cheaper.

EDIT: I'm reading up on the Aeroforce Interceptor gauge and have a question. I got a ZZP downpipe with an O2 bung welded on so i could get a wideband gauge in the future. If I get an Interceptor gauge can I just plug the O2 bung and the gauge will read the AFR?

Most ppl will tell you to get an interceptor with those two gauges because it reads everything. I kept stock boost gauge, AEM wideband and interceptor. Yea you could do that, but most ppl like to have a AFR gauge to see all the time and use interceptor for knock/short term fuel trims or something. just my .02$ Oh, it only reads AFR on the LNF's im pretty sure, so youd have to hook it up a diff way. I think they sell something for it?

Yeah, I just read that they sell a kit on their website to hook up to the gauge so it will read AFR. I also read that it won't power on just by plugging it in to the OBD2 for SS/SC's. There goes my laziness factor.

Does the only Rpd in a sedan ever count as an aftermarket gauge?

Oil presure sensor kit and wide band sensor kit from Aeroforce. They connect to the gauge's 2 analog inputs on the back.

I have the following...

Triple Pillar: Water Temp, Oil Temp, Volts
Dual Bezel: Boost, Oil Pressure

2009 Cobalt SS (LNF). I orginally had dual intercepters but i rather non digital gauges and a gauge for each function i like to see.
