I'm About to Re-Do My Tail lights

So my left tail light got ruined, I had to re-order another light. This weekend I'm about to re-do my tint that I did with VHT. I want both sides to be even so I'm going to start all over and start off new.

Anybody that has DONE this before, what is the best way to take off the existing clear and VHT?

Yeah, but I don't have the money right now to get them done professionally. So I'm stuck right now. Heck, who knows, if I'm able to take off all the VHT and Clear safely I might just keep it that way.

I used acetone I believe when I re-did mine. If you decide to keep em with no tint you will have to buff them.

Will the Acetone make the lights "cloudy"?

So just get lacquer thinner and a rag and go to town?

Will it leave my lights all cloudy or will they look just like stock with no residue on them?

yes sir, I did my own lights almost two years ago with vht and they look great still, the biggest thing to know is you need to sand the lights lightly, and use clear coat to ensure the vht doesn't even have a chance to chip.

It might but if you wax them with a plastic polish it should shine right back up
