i'd just go that route. i can't see a little curvy piece like that being easy to wrap and you can paint it but that's up to you haha.

I've thought about plastidipping mine as they've peeled as well.. I've never had the willpower to rip the handle off. Been too lazy.

Amazon.com: cobalt door handles

Painting them sucks because even with tons of prep, it is like that plastic doesnt like to hold paint on it.

Even with a good plastic primer on there?

I figure it would have been a lot of heat and a lot of stretching to get it right. And it still wouldn't be right

I did the face of the handle with CF its really tuff to get everything else with it because of all the curves it has. unless you paint the back portion and just CF the face like it did. Maybe taking the handle apart would help wrap it. Its not to hard I had to replace just the handle on mine since it was broken on the inside and the bezel is painted to match the trim. I wish I had the car I did the CF on but I dont lol

If I tried to wrap it I would have to take it apart. It's the only way

That would have been cool looking. Especially if you use the tow strap style with color matching stuff

I have a set of handles and I've thought the same. You might get them apart, but I don't know how easy it will be to put them back together.

I thought that you had to take the whole door assembly off to replace them, and was too lazy to do it!
Mine are peeling so bad the 'chrome' on them has cut me a couple of times. I have a new weekend project now!

You can change them without taking the panel off. You need needle nose to pull the cable tight.

The door panels are laughably easy to take off, 2 screws under the cup thing, 1 behind the door pull, lift the cup/switches out and giv'r a pull.

Yea, but they are cheaply made and three pieces of plastic welded pieces.
I take them off for nothing because after a couple times they tend to start falling apart.
