Installing Bucket Seats

Can some one please help me understand how to install bucket racing seats in to my cobalt. very confused on the passenger air bag sensor, also the seat belts as they have sensors in them too.

well it depends on what you are really asking i guess; if u plan on diconnecting the the OPS then your light will be on and deactivate all airbags, if you plan on using racing harness and removing the stock belts the pretensions will set an airbag code setting the light off disabling the SRS system; safest and most logical thing to do IMO is to transfer the OPS unit into the new seats (Not sure how easy this would be) and leave the stock belts in the car


Might get better help in problems and service
