Installing gauges in dashboard

I removed the dash and I am in the middle of installing water temp, voltage, oil psi, and IAT gauges into the middle AC vent opening. Here are some pics

That'll look nice. I'd miss those vents, but if you don't use em'...freakin' do it man. It will definitely look great!!!

Why water and IAT, though?

Doesn't look too bad. If you look over to the shroud around the gauge cluster, they're stilling at the low end of those gauges, so they may need to face up a bit more. Also, what if this dude is 7' tall???

A/C still works, just not out of the middle of the dash. Still have all the other vents.
This is not my everyday car i only rack up about 4000 miles a year. The car competes in Time trial events and Track days.

Nice project. I would think that a PLX in the A-pillar wouldve been easier, LOL.

looks nice,
mind if i ask what you plan on doing with the car, normally you woudnt think to get a racing seat+rollcage+eliminate a/c vents unless you were doing a pretty kickass build

The car dosent have any huge power upgrades Shorty headers with no CAT DP 2.5 exhuast, GM stage 2, bigger sway bar, Koni adjustable shocks, Ingalls TD. I have run 13.8 @ 106mph in the 1/4
The car mostly runs Time Trials with NASA and the SCCA. I have also run with the ECTA they do land speed racing in Maxton, NC.
