Installing gauges in dashboard
got any pictures of yours?
The car has a 4pt roll bar from autopower, the rear bars are welded to the fender wells the nain hoop is welded and bolted just ahead of the B pillar on the floor the cross bars in the middle are bolted in and can be removed if any one wanted to seat in the back.
definately is a ncie cage im going to be working on some goodies for the cobalt soon.....front splitter, side splitters, undertray for the front, rear seat delete panel(blocks off trunk opening) and a few other things
It is the autopower racing roll bar, the weld in model. When I installed it to see how it was going to fit I was not happy with the main hoop being right in line with the B pillar it would have hindered the stock seatbelts and it was just to far back, plus SCCA rules state that the bar has to be withn six or was that eight inches either way I had to extend the rear bars that go down to the inner fenders by 3.5 inches. Doing this brought the roll bar closer and safer if you look at the pictures you will see that the bar is in front of the B pillar. If anyone is reading this and looking to get a roll bar or cage from Autpower or already has one let me know how it fits for you, the roll bars that CA sell are from autopower.
Yes the gauges are angled towards the driver, just painted the dash today I need to sand down some imperfections that became very noticeable with black paint on it. Black is not the color to use if you are trying to hide stuff or youre an amateur at doing auto body work.
