Uh... depending on what Gen you have, there may be wiring required. There sure is with Gen 1

And with Gen 2, there is no wiring

And with Gen 3, i'm unsure, but i don't believe there is any wiring.

Typically the LEDs & Halos will have black and white or red wires for connecting. All you have to do is put all the blacks together, put all the whites/reds together, then hook them up to whatever power source you want. The most common is the parking lights, which would be the brown wire on the headlight harness. Connect the white/red to that and connect the blacks to a black ground wire. That's all there is to it. The Gen 3 are like this as well, I think Gen 2 are the only ones where everything is prewired.

They still look ricey. If you want to do it right, get retrofits. I just ordered mine last week. I should be getting them this week. I can't wait.

yep, that's pretty much it, although the leds will have white wires and the halos will have red wires, but you still wire them both to the parking light.

ok so im messin around w/ my halo and LED's on the Gen 1 lights, i bought them off a buddy so the wiring is a lil crazy but theres white, black, and a white wire w/ a black stripe, i got to touch them to the brown wire but no lights, could this be the leds or the wiring?
ok i know the black are the neg and im guessing whites are hot, i touch whites to brown nothing. then whites to brown w/ black touching metal on car and nothing. am i doin something wrong or could it be the wire?
