My ZZP heat exchanger started leaking so I had to take it off anyway. Decided to paint it black and did the SS logo in fluorescent orange then cleared over all of it. Then did a UV led strip in there to make the orange pop at night. Came out much better than I thought.. And on a side note it had absolutely no effect on my IAT2 temps what so ever. Whatcha think?

kinda cool. kinda like. kinda .... i had my zzp s3 he lit up by a couple small white led's on my saturn. looked cool at first, got old quick

Yea dont really see the UV light at all.. Just see the SS glowing

 

hhhmmm gave me a idea should do that in yellow for my hahn logo and get yellow fogs....looks sweet though

 

What do you guys use to paint and draw letters on the H\E so it doesnt mess with the flow.

 

I just used a normal krylon paint+primer black. Then the letters in a krylon fluorescent orange then krylon clear :P
No effect on IAT2 like I said.. Still between 10-18 above ambient while cruising

That's sweet. Reminds me I have this blue glow pigment for putting in paint I'm gonna use when I paint my bike. I may tear out my I/c and do something like that when Im painting the bike. Not only would it glow under uh but after it was switched off.

Oh Ok I've been wanting to do this but didnt know if it will affect IAT good to know. I want to put teeth on mine does anyone else have painted teeth on their H\E or intercooler?

I'll reinstall my side led underglows for this summer...so maybe I'll add something in the front to match. But a matching glowing red intercooler would be cool
