Lets see em! im considering doing some blue racing stripes on my black balt and havent been able to find any pics of what it may look like yet.

and yes i tried searching, so if you know where they are/ have photos please post in this thread.

There's an assload of black balts with white stripes on them. Shouldn't be too much of a stretch of the imagination.

Better yet, just go to the hardware store and get some blue painter's tape or electrical tape. I thought about getting black stripes on my red SC, so I used electrical tape. Looked okay, came off easily.

 

I want some black racing stripes.

 

I want red stripes on my black ss/sc

 

I like Riceburner's stripes on the fender

Haha that's probably what I'll end up doing. I'm trying to go for a black with red accents. Already have my ss/sc rims painted black and red, added a red SS beside the front bowtie, red calipers. I think I'll do the red stripes and *maybe* a rear "Supercharged" window decal, and a rocker stripe also thats says "Cobalt SS or Cobalt SS Supercharged".

I've always told myself performance before looks, I have my clutch to change and to install my meth kit, then I can finally tune my car and get this beast ready. So looks this summer for sure

 

I don't mind the racing stripes but whats up with the crap on the fenders

 

really made me dig to find this one.... all the way at the end of my 1600 picture photobucket album whoever did this did a great job and i think it looks awesome

I think blue on black looks awesome. Either that or matt black on black. Almost ordered my car with racing stripes from the dealership but I got cold feet the day they were going to install them. Too concerned about taking them off and damage to the clear coat...

What color combo would you do on a laser blue cobalt? I'm thinking a silver with black outline or black with a silver outline

 

I always wanted to see someone do a single stripe similar to the black balt w/ silver above, but wider... like as wide as the grilles with a nice pin stripe on each side.... I think VR w/ that done in Gloss black would look killer!

I would do it but I cant give up my car for multiple days to have it painted professionally...

 

^ I'd have to do a custom vinyl with that, in case i got tired of it lol wouldn't want to regret it later and it be permanent

yeah thanks for all the photos guys, look for stripes from front to bacl not fenders, that black one with silver is sexy tho.
