Interest in Rear Seat Delete Kit?

I know a lot of you use your back seats all the time so this would be useless to you, but for those who could live without the back seats, this might be right up your alley. Removing the back seats removes quite a bit of weight from the vehicle which we all know provides a greater power to weight ratio. I am going to come up with my own rear seat delete kit and send all the measurements to supporting vendors to see if they want to come up with this. So basically let me know if your are interested and if you are, how much would you pay for this?

its so easy to take the back seat frame and everything out. what would this delete kit be. like a sheet of plastic or something to block of the hole to the trunk?

I have some drawings laying around of some fiberglass delete kits. My mind goes wild with ideas sometimes. "hence the reason I go to school for automotive"

i'm very interested, just make sure that whatever the delete is made out of is actually lighter weight than the seats. I have noticed that the rear seats weigh practically nothing to begin with. But none the less I usually drive around with out them so I can't drive around others. (Back seat is too small for adults imo.)

I have been working on this. I'm good with fiberglass and I have been drawing up designs for a back seat delete. My favorite one so far is the corvetter water inspired. The downfall for that though is you can recline. But you have more trunk room....lol. My bro who is a avid car audio designer is working with me on one design.
Its quite simple to do this yourself. All you need it a few tools. Hell, you simply remove the seat backs, bottom and headrests, buy some automotive carpet and slap it in yourself. I have done it myself.
Its quite a simple project whichever route you decide to take. Fiberglasss is the best. You can do carbon fiber is can afford it and know how to form it. IF you don't care about weight you can always get some 1/4 inch particle board and make it up that way.
But if a vendor should make a delete kit it should cost no more than $150

There so many ways you can go with this. Audio set up, cargo set up, weight reduction, and even do the whole pimp my ride crap and throw you a fish tank in the back...

weight really wouldnt be my issue, as long as its not more than the stock seats

the biggest part about it is it would have to look factory, as in very clean install

Pictures of what you are really trying to achieve here would help sell it to people.

Indeed...That is how I am trying to go about with my car "Highly custom but stock looking at the same time."
