The Interior Build round 2
that piece had 4 coats of resin. kinda curious how i got pin holes. ah well.
220 grit then 320 grit.
Clear coat
then 800, 1000,1500,2000, rubbing compound, wax and buff.
most of the work like 80% of it is with sanding.

you would almost think so.
the places where it was sinking was because I drilled small holes on the cover in numerous places.
Since resin even epoxy is not 100% garunteed to bond properly to plastics. Especially the soft plastic like the airbag cover.
so the holes were drilled to create a Resin rivet effect to hold it down for sure.
note to self put tape behind the hole until im ready to flip it and make the rivet.
I get my CF cloth from a local boat building supply shop. except the red as they dont have red that was ordered through ebay
