Talking interior CF(thus far)

well i have as of yesterday, started on adding some CF to the interior...not the vinyl, the actual fabric that you make the shift boots from, here are some pics i took, under the pics i'll give a quick how to on how to do it, than again, i should post it on the how to section, nah, i think is how-to material...well here's the first

that is the center cap on the steering wheel, i know i mentioned this on another post, i removed the center cap, shaved off the start thing under it and wrapped the cap in CF fabric, i puntured holes for each of the clips it had, and then trimmed the excess off, and taped up the edges to the back to give it that flat look...

same concept here, used the CF fabric, but this time i did it diffrent, i took the button off, cut a small square, and pressed it against it, from there i had a knife and tsrtaed tucking the fabric in...once i had tucked it all in and it was nice and tight, i cut the denter w/the knife a bit, and placed the button in, now the fabric isnt glued or nothin, its being held on by friction, so if i ever wanted to remove it, i just pull the button out and take it off...

this isnt CF yet, but ima buy a big sheet of the CF fabric from ebay and do the armrest with it, but also notice the door panel, i once more mentioned this on a nother thread i made, i painted the upper part silver to match the car, and the bottom black...it look nice, and it'll look nicer once i make that armrest CF fabric.

that is my e-brake handle and boot, it took alot of fabrication to make this work, but it already has a how to, so im not gunna get into, if you wan aknow how, search for "ebrake retrofit"...i used a CF boot instead of a leather one, and the handle has CF fabric too, not vinyl...

thats just a front view of the car, nothin special there, just the painted bow tie, eye lids, and painted the grill to match the body, im gunna do stripes on the hood and fender...but idk wether to use black paint or CF vinyl(the hood stripes will be on the hood only, and they wont come down all the way, rather 3/4 of the way down)

and lastly is my shifter, i have a CF boot, and the shift knob had CF fabric as well, once more not the vinyl type...looks nice, the chrome is anoying in the heat, but i can deal with it...also if you notice on this pic and the ebrake on, i painted the center console...i made it dark grey, just to make the boots stand out more, look real nice...
now for future mods, im gunna get the CF fabric sheet and do the panels, im going to get the CF vinyl and do the door pillars, and maybe some stripes(<-pending on photoshop pic to see how it would look), also my short shifter will be coming in sometime this week, so that shifter will be even lower, yay...
well guys(and girls), lemme know what you think of my progress thus far

good work. What kind of Shift knob is that? I wonder if it will work with my short throw. it looks like a cheaper version of the 70 dollar MOMO. good luck on the door rests.

the shift knob is a pilot one, its a cheap brand, but it looks nice none the less, so ya'll think the steering wheel stuff is no good, hmm, i could take it off easy, but i'll wait to see what others think

could you take a pic of the steering wheel farther away from the buttons and center right on top of it. so we could get an idea of what it will actually look like when in the drivers seat.
