I have a 2.4 SS Coupe with a sunroof. My problem is that the only lights in the whole inside of the car are the two little map lights from the rearview mirror. I want to add some light to the back seat area for at nighttime when i have to get something back there. Where would be good mounting spots, i was thinking just plain white led's in the headliner? And where would be the best to wire them so they turn on when the doors open and on a switch?

 

god i hate not being able to see what is in the back of the cobalt at night, ive always wondered how to add a light back there lets see if anyones got good advice.

 

best advice i thank would be get a dome light from the 4 door version so it mathecs interior color and then just cut and drill and screw it on and wire it to the map lights wire that is in your headliner already and your done

 

i have a blue 15 inch neon between the head rest in the back seats it looks good and dont worry cause u can still see out the back window at night when its on

 

where did you get it? and do you have pics? 15" long but how wide?
