Interior Progress Report.... With PICS!!

Well kids..... I have been very busy..... many more to come, this is only the begining of this project. I have a set of 3.5 inch Kicker speakers comming friday, and they will be going in to the pillars aswell.....

Diamond plate I got for $5 at pep-boys..... nothing special, but covers the wear from my heal around the accelerator pedal...

A/F Gauge mounted in pod

Guage pod..... all access material cut off

Recaro Shoulderpads

New partially finished radio bezel...... waiting for my dash kit to come so i can make the whole thing one piece

Notice bumps removed... filled, and sanded smooth and flush

Neon interface test fit.... looks good

Dual Gauge pod.... Almost done, final touches and fill-ins left... plus sanding, priming and paintin

Test fit of A/F Guage..... Looks very nice

Well thats it for now, Tommorow I will post where I mounted my new led safety switch for my underbodys..... let me know what you guys thing, wait till you see the finished product with the speakers in them..... you will be envious....

same here can't expand the pic's, i'm trying to figure out if that finish you have is from sanding, or did you give it a marble finish on purpose. again probably could tell if i could expand it.

but the pod looks good, did you make it, or buy it?

interesting - what is going in the guage pod? what is the purpose of refinishing the radio bezel? what bump stops were removed? what are the neon interface for?

refinishing the dash bezel to eliminate the spots where the heated seats buttons should be.... the interface is to control, turn on and off my neons. i am also molding the dash kit in, so it will all be one piece, sanded smooth and color matched to arrival blue. i dont know why you cannot enlarge the pics. the gauges going in are the air to fuel gauge, and the stock boost gauge. the finish is because the pod itself was carbon fiber... well simulated, therefor it was shiny, and i have not scuffed it all the way down yet, so there is still gloss on it....

I'll be interested to see how your project turns out, I've wanted to repaint the silver dash pieces for a while now, mostly because that freakin paint chips so easily. This would make a great addition to the how-to section .
