can't be nation wide. cause OK doesn't even have inspections anymore.

honestly if you have a clean set of retros, just don't even mention them to the inspector. they may not even notice.

i'm sure retros are fine, as the real reason you get retros is to conform with those very standards they speak of. its not oem, but the projectors are meant to make a 'cut off line' for the hids...

op, whered you get this? what does it mean to 'fail the vehicle'? like my **** could be impounded if i get pulled over or something?

if something fails inspection. it's said to be not street legal and isn't supposed to be driven until what caused the car to fail is fixed.

This came across through the state inspection computer, one of the inspection techs stuck a copy of it under my headlights earlier haha!

Now another question here is if this will go through police bands, because if cops get this same bulletin it will be hunting season! Otherwise they dont seem to care as long as they are less than 10,000k.

I'm all for ticketing pnp users. That should be illegal. However I Truley think retrofits or hids in any projector housing should be legal. I think this is aimed more towards pnp users and not the small never of those put there with retrofits, though retrofits are still TECHNICALLY illegal.

Also having oem hids ftw. I can retrofit better projectors and still be fully legal.

If I can pass emissions with no cat I can pass inspection with Bi-xenon HID's.
