For being a law its definitely not enforced around here. Its redicilous the amount of doucebags around here with pnp ebay HIDs in the stock housings, poorly alligned or not even alligned at all to compensate for them. I am all for cops ticketing those kinds

I think only the NE part of Ohio does.

So are aftermarket projector headlights fine? They say they're DOT approved, but they're not OEM. Imagine a cop trying to figure that one out....

Yeah aftermarket projectors are fine, given you have a halogen bulb in it. It's not the lamp assemblies that are illegal, it's just the hid bulbs and lightening kits.

Only 7 or 8 counties in Ohio have inspection and it's just for emissions nothing else, the only time I've ever been harrassed for lights is when I was driving a friends golf in which he painted his headlights purple (don't ask) and that was by a statey, so we are pretty lucky here in OH and personally most cops I run into don't know **** about cars

I think this section has enough stickys already, plus this isn't actually a new law.

That's my thought too. But if need be for inspections, just slap in a halogen bulb during inspection then replace the hid when you're legal again.
