sprays on as a liquid, it dries fast and u peel away the tape will its halfway dry

Sorry, i've never done this stuff before, when/where do you put the tape on? The pictures i've seen just show the newspaper and tape on for prepping to keep the dip where it's supposed to be.

its cool im new to it too, so ask away before u waste it. u mark off the spots that u want painted with the tape before spraying it, just continue the angle of the lower grille all the way to the bottom.and yes thats removed while its drying. if it dries attached to the tape it will peel when u remove the tape.

Alright, thanks man. That clears up some things for me. I've got the SS lip, think it'll look alright on it still?

yeah it will look even better with the ss lip

im still searching for a decent used lip for sale

so go for it. if u dont like it later on just easily peel it off

Look for the line coming from the bottom of the lip on the front of the bumper and use the tape to bridge the line from the bottom curve to the inside curve of the lower air dam. When I did my Evo mod I put the edge of the tape half way inside of the curve of that line all the way around so I didn't have any un-natural looking blocks of black.

I also masked all the way above my upper grill and around to my wheels (this crap flew out all crazy when I test sprayed it.)
