i cant really understand people saying it looks normal, it doesnt look normal, it looks like i did it myself while i was drunk for someone who doesnt know what a dot matrix is.
i paid good money to have the tint done professionally so im definately gonna bring it back and let him fix it cause it looks horrible at the back
thanks for everyones input!

sand dots off takes forever, the vinyl is a common option, but i went with number 3

the part on the front windshield is different, it sticks, but looks like it doesn't

the way they did the back was do the rest, and put the bead of glue and squeegee it out with the water instead of drying it first

The guy local to me that does tinting has zero issues with the dot matrix on the cobalts. Im gonna have to ask him what he does.

If your tint specialist is willing to actually put some extra time into it, wait a week for it to cure, go back to them and ask them to push the tint down to the dot matrix using balsa wood.

Had mine fixed today. PERFECT.

I might try this on friday. I hate that dot matrix look. The guys who did my tint seem lazy and like they don't give a ****. My tint has a bunch of dried up little tiny air pockets in it i waited long enough and now im pissed about it, oh and when they installed it they didn't clean the weather stripping on the inside of the door so my tint got scratched.

that looks good, did it look like mine before you did that?
did you bring it to the place you got it done to get it fixed or did you do it yourself?

Try and press it to the dot matrix yourself over the next few days try and get a tintin squeege (walmart should have some for cheap) or even a credit card will work. keep it in the sun as much as you so the tint can fully dry out and cure. You have a few days grace period. I would say if not any better in a week and your not happy with it, Use that warrenty and take it back.

you can also try taking a hair dryer to the window on the out side and warm up the outside, then squeege. If you have access to a heat gun it'll work better, but don't heat things up to much. Use caution with a heat gun.
