why do your rims have a groove on the lip? those arent ss/sc rims are they?

It was aproximately 48 hours, for the proper prep, cleaning and 3 coats of base then two of clear. For 1 person.

And the rims have the lip because in 07, with the Gunmetal wheels, they swapped the Malibu SS Gunmetal wheels in.

*Future note to anyone who wants to paint their lipped Gunmetal wheels: get some kind of power tool to assist in removing the paint. Its on very well, and in the corners its very tight for fingers and sandpaper.*

I will get a rolling pic once the snow melts around here, and it's safe to drive the car around. Which at this rate could be June...

Red would make them stand out more, but i detest red. Seriously. The only red on the whole car is on the reflectors in the tailights where it's required by law, and the CHMSL, and side markers.
