Are L.E.D's along the headlight bottoms stupid?

sort of the like R8 headlights, I've seen a few cars with this done and I sorta like it but I'm still on the fence.

I'm on winter break from school and have some time on my hands and want to do something cheap, I've got around 250 6mm Led's laying around and don't know what to do with them.

anyways, I know everything says "oh your car do what you want" but I'm still iff about this, what do you guys think? should I do the R8 headlight thing with the LED's? and if you dont think I should.. what would you do with them?

or if you have any input about other cheap (can be time consuming) mods I could do over 3 weeks, post here, I've already done most of the cheap easy **** like reupholstering, LEd conversion on everything, painted bowties and that stuff lol,

what he said.. I had em for a lil... but eventually turned em off.. you COULD put em on the fogs.. like from the top left around the top to the bottom right... THAT would look hot as long as you dont cheap out with it

That actualy would look pretty nice....

almost all new cars are comin with drl in the form of some kind of led bar or halos.. Audi's weren't the first or last brand to do them, The R8 just made em "big"

I don't even like them on Audi's. Soon though having stock halogen bulbs is going to be the crazy thing.

When Audi first introduced it, they were pretty cool. Now that all the other manufacturers along with people in the after market scene are doing it too, it's pretty damn played out. I'm starting to not even like it on Audi's own cars.

Alot of things get played out in the car scene. If something looks good its going to be copied.

I like what ford did on the new Edge. Doesn't really project any light, just kind of gives it a classy appeal imo.

yeah, like that chevygirl, but I dont think I'm gonna do 'em, I just thought it was a decent cheap mod, but I'll find something else, but they look tacky now that I look at it more, I saw one with HUGE individual bulbs, and that didn't look too bad, but I dont like it much anymore with the small bulbs

and shake, I hear what you're saying, I just dont know if the cobalt has the Body lines up front to support that look, its not angular enough :/

Riceburner those lambo headlights are gorgeous, but theres no way that'd work in a cobalt, nor would I have any CLUE how to make those light tunnels.

Those Ford edge lighting is cool, but theres no where to do that on a cobalt.

hm, maybe I'll just make some insanely bright flashlight or something

or... again.. if anyone has any ideas I'll consider it (to a degree haha!)

I think they look awful around the headlights because theres really no flat line to take advantage of. I had them under my lights curving around and I HATED them.
