Right here! I got the 45 degree kit from Vertical Doors, Inc. i would rate them a 10! I have gotten a ton of compliments about them and the car gets alot of attention.

Did you install them yourself? If not, (I hope you don't mind me asking) how much did you pay for the install of them?

Me and my dad installed them. After we got the first one on the other side was a breeze. The hinge needed to be grinded down to bring the front of the door in closer. Just takes time

So the install is more time consuming than hard. Good to hear, BTW the car looks sick with them on there too.

Thats the best Cobalt I've ever seen. Seriously, I love how the car is so low with the doors. I'm not to familiar with the car, but it also looks like you got all of the trim for the inside of the car blue. Also, another thing I like but not sure if its stock is that little shape on the side of your spoiler, did you blacken that yourself or no?

ok it does look really cool and its one of the first visual mods i want to do, however there is one thing that concerns me......

doesn't that add a ton of weight? i personally prefer go to show and if the kits are really heavy then thats unfortunat.. because i would imaginge they would have to be to lift the heavy doors up.
wait i got an idea.... carbon fiber doors lol jk

amomentsnotice, i dont know if you are a big guy or not, but you should be able to pick up the door by yourself. they aren't that heavy. but to do this install, you will definitly need another person to help you. i dont think the hinges will add that much weight from stock.. think about it, the stockers are holding that door up, and it swings out REALLY FAR! you all know they do. now it's not going out that far, just up.. i would expect more than a 5-10 lb increase in the total weight of the car.
p.s. stock there are 2 hinges, now it's just one bigger one

The inserts are all stock options that you can get when you buy the car (or afterwards), but the spoiler I believe on his is a carbon fiber centerpiece. If you were wondering, they do sell the whole wing, but personally I like the look of just the centerpiece better, esecially with a carbon fiber trunk/hood to match.

Ohhh. Well I'm, not really a carbon fiber type guy. I'm with you on the center piece only. Thanks for the info.

the hinges are really heavy duty hinges. They add atleast 10lbs per door. The stock hinges are not heavy at all.

Yes, i have the cf center piece wing and end caps from cobalt addiction. I am more show than go for those of you wondering.

it might be worth it tho cuz they look soooo dam good on a cobalt.
that was like the first thing i wanted to do but havent been able to justify a grand to make the doors open differently yet
