You pretty much unbolt the fender off the car. Tape the door so it doesnt move too much, and also the edges of the door to advoid chips and scratches. Unbolt the hinges and remount the new hinge by attaching it to the door first, then the body. But we had to taper the hinge to bring the door in closer so there was no gap. Bolt in the shock. Then cut the fender lining and bolt back up. Just follow the instructions. But it was as bad as it seems.

Roll down the window or go out the windsheild which would be broken if you flip

Oh and PlaysWitCars you have an awesome car . It almost makes me wish I would have got blue.

autoloc.com has a slimline door kit that is weld on and will work for the cobalt.
$899.00 for it and its also 130degrees of movement

damn i dont know if i want it to go that far... the kit i saw was like 430 and was a 90 degree weld on
