Leaking projectors

.. tis a sad sad day for me.. with all this rain and humidity here, my passenger side projector has started leaking. There is quite a bit of fog in there right now, I dont have time to fix it tonight but if I get to it tomorrow night and take a hair dryer in there to dry up what I can, do you guys think there will be a residue left in there?

i think mine is also starting to leak, i had to reinstall tehm so many times to get the lights aimed i must have broke a seal, Its not a big deal, just take a hair dryer to them and reseal them.

In all honesty, your better off ditching the projector lamps. I have heard from more people than one that they are simply pieces of crap. If you'd like, you can try reinforcing them with some silicon at the seal.

Re-sealing them wont be hard at all, im just worried about the water that is in there now leaving a mark or residue of some sort...

You guys didn't break a "seal" the rubber backing cap thing comes loose very easily, make sure its on snug.

Mine also came with directions that said to silicone the rubber cap for the projector...otherwhise it will get moisture inside.

That would be what you need to do.
