LED DRL's?! YEAH.

LED H1 bulbs. Cost: $5... free shipping. 2X Car H1 13 SMD LED White Bulb Head Lamp Headlight 12V on eBay.ca (item 140530139091 end time 30-Apr-11 19:26:14 EDT)

They're a little bit whiter than they look in the pic... there's 5000k HID's in the outers and they're very close to those.

Just doing my part to save the planet, yo. Based on my LED experience you could leave these on for 24-36 hours before they killed your battery. Not that you'd want to.

My driver's side headlight is royally screwed, did a **** poor job putting the lens back on and it won't fit, as you can see. Whole thing's gotta come out.

looks like you need to tuck the front corner under the bumper more to get the outside flush.

I hope you don't plan on using them as high beams.

Nah, the lens just isn't centered and the shell of the headlight isn't properly seated on the bottom part. I got kinda lazy putting them back together yesterday.

They're stupid bright at night. They look like HID's if you just look at the car, because they're in reflector housings that increase glare, but the actual light output is basically nothing. I'll go take a pic.

Can't really get anything from this, it's as low as the exposure will go on my phone. I'll have to get pics at dusk tomorrow. What's cooler is the pattern it leaves because of the reflector and/or the LED's on the bulb:

They're wired to go off once the headlights come on, so it's irrelevant.

As long as they're strictly for DRL use then I say they're fine. LEDs look stupid bright up close but they will not project light anywhere near as far as an HID or even a halogen.

^ My phone is exaggerating it greatly. Looking down at my car from about 5 feet away, they aren't even as bright as the HID's well above the cutoff, i.e. if I turned on the HID's these would barely be noticeable. I can look straight into the reflector even in the dark, I sure as hell wouldn't do that with the stock halogen bulb in there.
