LED Tail Lights...please vote

Ok guys, now that I know I can get the outers no problem, it's time to decide WHICH design will be produced. For now, we're going to go with the most popular one, but if there is enough demand, I will produce a 2nd design.

Design one

Design two

Design three

These are the designs to choose from. Whichever gets the most votes will be the design we produce first.

I will be allowing MP to sell them as full units AND as just inserts, but we'll gather that list later.

According to the votes so far, Design 1 will be the design we first produce. Anyone who would be interested and can commit to purchasing, please add your name to the list!

Combo:
1. JRANGER (inserts)
2. repoman
3. kkanowitz
4. dvscobaltSS
5. Ric
6. EmperorJJ1

Outers:

Inners:

the inners only have 1 design, nothing to vote on there. with the tails, i can sacrifice a few led's for the sake of them being more visually appealing.......with the reverse lights, i'm going for all out brightness, so no sacrifices there...

can you make one that converts to an arrow when you hit the signal/brake/hazard?
for signal it would show where you are turning
for brake or hazard it would basically say "STOP/go around"?

just a thought

wow this is REALLY a one sided poll.....i figured it was going to be a little bit closer, but with design 1 having more than the other 2 combined.....i think its safe to say that design 1 will be the design we end up producing.....

suburban: no, that would require the use of an IC chip, raising the cost and complexity of the units. I actually find its no more effective to have a turn signal that is an arrow when its on a car because if anyone doesn't realize where you're turning, they shouldn't be allowed to drive anyways.....

That bums me out. I really don't like the looks of design one in relation to what the reverse light inserts will look like if you produce them. I think if the two lights kinda flowed together it would look much better, and with the reverse light design you have in the other thread having a red ring for running lights on the outside of the circle, I was hoping design 2 would get more votes here.

ok, i think the votes have made it clear which design would be the most populer. I'de now like to ask how many people would commit to purchasing?

I will take that list to MP, and they can decide if they're going to go forward with it(which i'm sure Cory will).

I'm looking at no less than 20 sets, inserts or replacements doesn't matter.

Here's approximate pricing, but MP will have the final say on selling price:

Outer Inserts: $90
Inner Inserts: $50
Combo: $125

These prices are not representative of final selling prices, nor do they assume shipping costs or any other cost associated. I will go over some details with MP tomorrow, but for now, lets see a commitment list...

3.

So when you say "inners", are you talking about the reverse lights on the actual trunk lid? If so, Does your planned design for those include lighting up the red ring on the outside (similar to the 'Vettes)?

Thanks for all of the hard work and dedication...I can't wait to get my high mount lamp here in the next week or so!!
