LED Tails! *56K maybe*

Thanks to Modern Performance and MGWilly (Ebay), i now have a set of sweet LED tails all across the back! These are VERY bright, and very sweet! Yes, the inner lights stick out a bit, but i can totally live with that since these are exactly the lights i was looking for.

LED CHMSL- Modern Performance- $30 & $20 Shipping
LED Chrome Altezza Tails- MGWilly (Ebay)- $300 & $50 shipping
(Both items shipped through USPS and Canada Post, to Saskatchewan)

Check out my other thread of what they look like on the car in the day,
https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/appearance-48/daytime-pics-led-tails-%2A56k-not-likely%2A-93628/

Trunk

Trunk wiring

Tailights, no flash

Taillights, with flash

MOVIE! (The left side doesn't look as bright, because the camera is straight in line with the right side lights.)
[And the song is Fergie's "Glamorous" remixed by XM 81. Want Serious satellite radio? GET XM!]

Sorry man not really digging them. I don't like that there is a lot of spacing inbetween LED's and they just look overall cheap IMO.

I only like that the trunk lamps are functional besides reverse lamps. I'll leave it at that Ive seen those and all the others available and I am disappointed that no one has yet to make an LED lamp set I would buy. Just have to make my own I guess.

If YOU dig them thats all that counts.......

They look good at night, because you can't see all of the tiny LED's. Tint them out & it'll look much better!

I was thinking of buying those and using the factory lenses... I think that would be sweet, you really wouldn't know until they sparked up...

I don't think that would work cause the stock len's aren't deep enough and it wouldn't look right.

Indeed, the stock lenses are about two centimeters (1 inch) short. And i am not gonna tint them, because i have a Lazer Blue and chrome theme going (note billet grille and halo headlights)

But to each their own! And i will get a pic up of them from the side. It just might be in the next day or so.

Basically I would look to use the boards from inside the Altezza lights and modify a set of factory tails to fit them in... I would need to see a set up close first before I commit to the $300 spend... Then again I could do almost the same thing with a set of Passat tail lights for less money... I'll worry about that crap when "The plan" is finished

Thanks! To those that like em anyway, i sure do!

I've already had a few comments, between the halo headlights and LED tails, my car looks "futuristic"!

And the quality on these is very impressive. Very near stock quality! Just some slightly softer plastics.
