I like this style taillights but the chrome versions look cheap imho.

I like the red ones a lot better

I just wish they weren't so crazy expensive. For $300 I could get a new downpipe and header.

I just wish I could find some for under 200 for shure.

I like them, they look good. I like how they all are functional too....like, the inside ones aren't just for reverse.

i was just curious, but would there be any way to grind down the backs of the inner tails to make them almost flush like the stockers? i know the inners stick out like bug eyes so i was just throwin it out there lol

hey captain, what did you have to do to wire these bad boys up? i hear these are plug n play? let me know, because like i said.. im gonna be buying these

I was just on Cobalt Performance Parts website.... they have 5 different color options for the tail lights. I'm sure most of you who don't like the chrome ones will find a color thats more your style.

BTW.... I like the tail lights!! Will be doing the same eventually, but I may go red instead of chrome seeing as how I have no other chrome on my balt.

Unfortunatley no. The back is the same depth as stock, it's just the houusing is larger to accomadate the LEDs and then some space between them and the outside housing. I looked, and the only way to make them smaller, would be to get a smaller LED setup, but then you'd grind them down or lop'em off or whatever, and it just wouldn't look as good.

And these are absolutly plug and play. Unplug stock lights, plug these into stock lights, run the included wire from the outside to inner tails and hide it.

These are excellent. Fit is the exact same as stock, providing you tighten the nuts in the trunk, and don't get anything caught behind them. From the back, they look exactly like the stock housings (except with the light plug, and inner tail plug running out from it).

I was really not liking these at all but now i kinda do. Has anyone tried to get the LED outers from modernperformance and then custom fitting LEDs into the inners to get rid of the "POking out" thing?

Whats so bad about the poking out? Get the stock coloured ones, and no one would ever know!

not a lot bad about it just i have been going back and forth about these tails for a long time now just because i would want the clear lense ones and black them out with niteshades (and a little more as i have done with my stockers). just not sure about them yet. but i give you props for having them. they look good.
