news flash if your "fucked in a dark area" they have these things called flashlights... They are portable and can shine light anywhere, they look like this:

I myself suggest a Mini Mag-Lite kept in your interior and a 3 cell Mag-Lite in the trunk.

With the colors they come in, you can pretty much find them really close to the color of your car.

Where did you tap in to get the power for the lights? Also what route did you take the wires so they are hidden?

The hood is made of two separate layers of sheet metal, so I ran my wiring thru the two layers, its a bitch to do, but it looks great in the end.

You can't see the wiring at all.

I grounded mine at the strut bolts, and ran the power from the parking lamp fuse

Thanks for the information. Where did you put the switch or is there a way that you could hook it up so that its on whenever you open the hood?

If you wire it into the parking lamp fuse, the light comes on whenever the headlights or parking lights are on
