Lexan Glass

Has anyone ever replaced their OEM glass for lexan glass?

the windsheild isnt legal , but you can do the back and sides ......i think you would save about 25 lbs.

The problem you run into is that lexan scratches easily. Then there's the issue of either gluing or riveting in the lexan. Finally, there's sealing the lexan in place, cause if it's gonna see rain, I'd be worried about the water seepage. Now if you can get around all that; go for it
