I will try and answer your question for you the best that I can.
The standard housing headlight is a 9007. These are single bulb, dual filment lights. This means that one bulb acts as both your high beam and low beam. If you have changed to projectors, the light bulb is a H1. These are a single filament bulb. This means that you need one bulb for the low beams and one for the high beams.
On color, 8000K are much more blue than the 6000K headlights. The 6000K will still appear blue, but just not as much as the 8000K. The 6000K will light the road better than the 8000K bulbs will. Personally, I don't care for what color a bulb is. I care more for how much the bulb actually lights the road. That is why I use 4300K HID's.
I hope that I was able to answer your questions.
