lighted cup holder

this project mainly came out of boredom lol

i decided to cut out the bottom of my cup holder and replace the bottom with plexiglass

i sanded the plexi for a frosted look ( ive gotta do more sanding...still too transparent)

and below the cupholder i have leds mounted(might need more...not bright enough for me)

ive got a few pics i just took since i literally just finished this lol. i will get some night shots tonight and see how it looks.

sorry if the pics suck...took em with my phone.

I understand the plexi because no one wants a hump of an led sticking out. You could night shade it a bit from the bottom to blur it up a bit so you cant see straight through.

what did you seal it with?

Looking at it again, probably could have softened up those rough edges a little bit more from cutting. But hey, who really looks inside cup holders anyway?
Well I guess If you're looking for a penny.
