Limitations of paintless dent repair?
Anyone experienced with paintless dent repair? How large of a dent can they repair? Left the boyfriend alone at the drag strip to repair the axle he snapped, when he called to tell me the parts store gave him the wrong one, and to pick him up, my fender had a nice huge dent in it. The story is he tripped and caught himself with the car, but it looks conspicuously like a high velocity fist-to-sheetmetal action.
I will get pics tomorrow, but it's deep and, more concerning to me, pushed in both of the bends along the body lines. No paint missing, so just getting it pulled would be ideal, I'm just worried that with the countours of the fender it's never going to look right.

That's why I'm hoping I can do it for this. But it's indented over an inch deep, from the top edge of the fender to a couple inches above the wheel well, and about 4 inches across. My worry is what will happen where the bends in the sheet metal are. Very rarely have I seen those areas pulled out without leaving some imperfections.

I'm going to get a pic tomorrow. If I were on a computer instead of my phone I could probably photoshop it, but I figure I'll be back out there tomorrow and I can have an actual pic.

That's kind of what I thought too. I've seen the guy do his magic at my uncle's garage a few years back, and he's taken some HUGE dents out, but I know that any kind of bend or contour on the sheet metal poses a challenge. What I'm thinking is it looks like it can be treated as two to three smaller areas. the top would need pulled first, then the middle, which MAY straighten the bottom as well, if not, it could be done separately.
