so i just got my 3rd gen projectors and they say hid bulbs not allowed? roflv wtf?

You need to modify your 3rd gens slightly so that the HIDs don't glare. That's probably reason as they are actually halogen bulb projectors. (HID bulbs don't fit in the light holes very well without a little more modification...)

Search "Squirrel Spotter" and you'll get your how to... its easy as pie!

huh? my hid bulbs went in place with only a little bit of like rubing. fit fine though. and yea i need to get me some muffler putty or w/e and take the dam reflector thing out.

My third gens work quite fine with my HIDs, and the bulbs fit fine, I removed that reflector thing before I put them in and I've had no issues with them whatsoever.

My bulbs wouldn't fit in no matter which way I wiggled them... even after making the hole bigger it was still a tight fit... this tight hole was no fun to play with! As for the screw hole from the squirrel spotter, I just used some hi temp squeezable putty/silicon stuff. It was only $2.99 at Canadian Tire.
