I think the idea is awesome, but the execution is a little off. Honestly, the quality of the paint used is horrible. I manage a collision center and am thinking of doing the same thing, but with the real stuff. Thanks for the idea.

 

thanks for the input guys. Ill be sure to make a how-to for sure now. Im going to finish the passenger side today. I have a couple of ideas on how to make it perfect this time around. Ill be sure to post it when Ive finished. Thanks again all.

 

Looks killer, I wouldn't mind throwing some red SS logos on mine. I'll keep an eye out for the how to.

I think if the silver paint chips off enough (which it will before long) I want to do this with color matched black paint... I think that would look great

Very clean looking. I may do that since my silver is pealling again. I'll make sure to add a couple coats of clear before I reinstall them though.
