When I bought my 02 civic si it sat 1" off the ground. It looked ******* sick, had to remove the bumpers to get it on a trailer and the sideskirts hit. When I got it here to Oklahoma the shitty roads tore it up in no time. But other than that it looked nice.

It was nice till the poorly maintained roads of Oklahoma got whole of it. That and working a night job and driving 73 miles one way along rural high with lots of critters scurrying about took.its toll. I plan on rebuilding her.

i was dropped on coilovers in Oklahoma for 3 years. Roads aren't that bad. With that being said, please help that civic out and take all the gaudy parts off.

OP, lower it. nuff said.

if you complain about the roads you dont have the stuff to go low. roads are shitty all over the nation. yes some are worse than others, but if you are a smart driver and dont just ******* hit holes and bumps like you are in a truck and avoid things that stick up, you should be fine.

id recommend going springs, if you are satisfied with the ride/height you can stay there. if you feel you want something more you can always later invest in coil overs or just be a champ and cut some coils off your springs

My Balt is my daily. I plan on getting coils and doing like a 1.5in drop, that's all. Can get low but still raise it for the winter. A lot of people do it to their dailies

Gaudy parts? come to my area of Oklahoma seems like if there is a nice smooth road the city comes and tears it up and redoes it so its shitty.

Well I bought it that way and I happen to like the bodykit not necessarilly the sideskirts. And the headlights I tore apart and painted black. What's the point in looking like every other civic on the road. And honestly if you looked at bodykits that's one of the more mild ones for that car unless you want the front end to look like a bus. To each his own.
