LS bumper mod?

I was just wondering if anyone with an LS has cut out the lower grills and put mesh in place of them. I have seen a couple pics of it on an LT, which would be easier since the grills pop out. If anyone has ever done this and could give me some advice it would be greatly appreciated

I actually like the way that it looks, since I have the RK lip as well. I just don't really care for the SS front on a non SS. You see them around too much. I'm just looking for something a little bit different

LT grilles pop out, but it's just solid plastic behind- they don't go all of the way through. I covered mine in mesh because I just didn't like the blackness. Was easier than painting them white.

Yea, I know it's pretty easy to do on the LT bumper, but the LS bumper all the grills are actually molded into the bumper.

Yeah, I know. I actually prefer the integrated body-colored grilles over the contrasting black-no-matter-what-color-the-rest-of-the-car-is LT grilles.

just drill some holes or silicone some mesh over those pseudo-grilles. Or try to find some other nutcase like me who has an LT and hates the grilles.

Yeah I'm more fond of the LS bumper too. Even on a black car I'm still not fond of the LT and its flat-black inserts.

I like the fact that the grills on the LS are color matched, but I just want something to make the front stand out a little more. I'm just not happy with the way the RK lip looks on the LS bumper. I'm thinking that the mesh will look good since I have a silver car
