Is it possible to swith a bumper from an LS to that of an SS. It looks as though an SS bumper would fit but the Ls would have SS taillights. Has anyone done this before? Any comment would be helpful, thanks!

 

..the taillights of all Cobalt coupes are the same. It's a straight swap, but your car will look silly without the sideskirts and front bumper. Welcome!

my back bumper got fucked up the other morning, so i'm just going to be getting the SS/NA rear bumper, no lip, it'll look better

 

Look better? Nah, it won't.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you can't switch to the round taillights of the coupe. If you're asking if you can switch to the SS sedan bumper... yes you can, it's easy... but it's negligibly different and there's no real point.

Not really a fan of half-bodykits.

 

The new SS/TC Sedan bumper will work but, the mounting kits are slightly different from what I understand.

 

i also have the ss/na/sport front bumper sitting in my garage waiting for winter to be gone!

 

if you get a SS bumper , get the rest of the kit when you can because the SS bumper hangs lower then the LS bumper so it will look funny from the side with out the side skirts and back bumper. That is why I'm saving for the whole SS kit.

YOU CANNOT SWAP COUPE REAR TO SEDAN OR VISE VERSA!!!
