Materials for Appearence Mods

So this is what I'm hoping to do in the next couple weeks...

-Painting housing of headlights black
-Tinting back tail lights
-Painting the front and back chevy bowtie black

So what I need to know are the materials (as specific as possible; even brand names of the best). I'm guessing I need some kind of special paint, tint, gloss, and some other paint (or spray paint) for the bowties. I want really good stuff, don't want it chipping or looking like crap lol.

For the Bowtie I'd recommend Krylon (whatever color) and Krylon gloss clear coat. Good luck and I can't wait to see the finished products!!!

Use VHT nightshades. You can buy them from ebay, or you can get two cans of that stuff from modernpeformance for 24 bucks. This is the dark coats. Then use the above "gloss" for the best results.

Probably the same as the bowtie from what I've read. Maybe a high heat clear just to be safe?

Alright awesome. I've been cruising with the money in my wallet for like 2 weeks haha. I couldn't remember if you had your taillights tinted or not. But I'm down for monday, I have that and sunday off next week.

Is there a best way to spray paint the bowties? I'm pretty sure the front one can pop off but the back one is gunna be a bitch I'm assuming.

You could do that, but I just put newspaper all around the bow tie and taped it down. Then I sprayed it. Even if spray paint gets on your car, you can just wipe it off. Just as long as you dont leave it on there for to long.
