meguiars question!

what do you guys think the major difference is between the meguiars quick wax and quick spray... too me there both the same and i have used both of them on my car after eveyr wash and i have not seen a difference anyone know the difference between them?
and witch one is better?

spray wax

Speed Detailer

i mean they both say it protect you wax and enhances it...

The only difference I understand is the Speed Detailer says it removes contaminants...
I personally don't see a difference in shine between the two either.

EDIT: I do see a shine difference with the NXT liquid wax... love that stuff!

The spray wax i dont use very often if at all. Its just use for a very light coat of wax. (spray on let dry then wipe off). But the Speed Detailer i love. I use it at every show i go to. It does add some shine to the paint atleast on my car it does. I use the detailer usually when the car is a little dusty and i dont want to wash it. But thats just me.

the speed detailer is ment for an already waxed car.
if you spay the detailer and on unwaxed car and a waxed car, you'll see a major differance.

I suggest by a good liquid or past wax, and really put on a good coat, so it lasts long.
then all you have to do is use the speed detailer, to maintain the shine over the next weeks. if the detailer doesn't easily wipe off clean, then it's time to put another good coat of wax.

and microfiber cloths are the best

like any other wax. it just has a bunch of steps and leaves the best shine i've ever seen. the car looks wet all the time.

The deailer is also a cleaner and has stuff to suspend the dust on your car in it so it doesnt scratch your vehicle. Personally I dont like the meguiares stuff though.

the speed detailer is just for basically spot cleaning on the car...it works best with a coat of wax already on it....
