I would like to put black mesh on the lower grills of mt 2006 LT but I'm sure how to go about it. I've found lots of how-to's for the SS but nothing for the base ones. My thought is to take out the grills, cut the grates off and somehow attach the mesh to the frame and just snap back in place. Am I making it harder then it really should be? Also, if this is the way any ideas on how to attach the mesh to the frame? I'm thinking some sort of strong glue or maybe drilling some hole in the frame and wire tying it all together.

 

hey check out rksport.com they got a cobalt in red with the grill inserts in black. i wanna do that to my car also. im gonna try and give them an email when i get around to it. but u should try to talk to them and ask them how they did it. just a thought.
