Momo Steering Wheel installed

So I finally got the right part number for the Hub adapter and installed the Momo Race wheel, I went for the smaller 12..6 rather than the 13.8. The handling on my car is so much more responsive now, the only downfall is no more palming the wheel to turn in tight spaces, gotta use 2 hands.

BTW- Unlike some applications I did get to keep the use of my Horn, on my Civic I lost it.

Yeah they are but its a trade off I'm willing to make.
I have written a couple cars off, some with and some without airbags.

My Probe GT did have airbags and I was not wearing my seatbelt and that bag save my ass, no question about it (hit a Jeep in the rear doing about 140kms)

My Civic had bags but when I got hit in the front left corner from almost a head on position they did not deploy, I however was wearing my belt and walked away fine.

So i agree with you airbags are the safer way to go, airbags and your belt is about as good as it gets.
However airbags dont deploy sometimes, and seatbelts fail so if its your time to go its your time to go. I am not going not get something I really want due to fear of an accident. I have lived through both sides of the airbag delemma so I won't pick one over the other

BTW _Thank you to those of you who liked the wheel, its not that expensive like it used to be, the whole ordeal cost me about 350 (wheel, hub, install)

Looks nice but I would prefer to have an airbag just in case! Did you sale your airbag to cover the cost of the new steering wheel?

I didn't do the work myself, and evedently the guys who did sayed it was a bit of a bitch (as everything else on a Cobalt). I just had someone else PM for the part number on the hub but I left the box at the shop, I'll email Cobalt Addiction and ask what it was (I bought it from them) However I suggest you do the same cuz it was the cheapest place I could find them at anyway.
Yeah you loose all the DIC buttons, its what held me back from doing it for so long but I'm a stuborn **** so i caved.

I didn't sell the airbag, there like $800 to replace or something like that so I kept it just incase I ever needed to put the car back to stock.

It does really tighten up the steering, it hard to explain but I know it means io very seldom have to take my hands off the wheel, when you turn a corner because of the smaller space you don't have to turn one hand over the other,

It took the shop about an hour and a half start to finish,
Heres more pics as requested

nice but i would have been more impressed if you made it split release and was able to take it off and put on the stock one then I would do it no questions asked. But of course that would be an assload of money to do.

Don't use it anyway, hate the feeling of not being in control of the car

This is Canada we don't have that here.
Only if a Cop orders you to have a "saftey inspection" done do you have to have your vehicle inspected.

My old Civic had a Momo Millenium wheel in it and I got a saftey inspection done and it passed. Laws are different from Country to Country. Even from State to State or Prov. to Prov.
