Motor Mounts Impulse Style

Well I got some used motor mounts from slowalt. they were a little rough and silver. so i decided to paint them black and add the impulse touch. yes carbon fiber lol. just a few accent pieces to it (no vinyl here). i will be putting this in soon. i'll be doing all the other stuff like injector cover etc. down the road.

Amen to that bro I have a question. Many many years ago when I was a little boy I saw, somewhere, colored carbon fiber? Like, color matched carbon fiber hoods. Is this bull ****, or possible?

yeah they do make it. most of the time it's just colored fiberglass woven. others are carbon/kevlar hybrids

here's an install pic. at first i was i little skeptical about the vibrations but they really grew on me. i really feel more connected to the car and shifting is so much better. i can really feel the rpms and when to engage more precisely for smoother shifting when i want. it got so stiff and feels together more. and shifting gears hard is great. no more crazy hopping etc.

Carbon fiber, no. Fiberglass, yes. Can't be -TOO- much of a difference to work with can it?

yeah good luck with that lol. dying carbon fiber. they make resin dyes but there not for that purpose at all. and yeah there's a difference to carbon fiber than woven fiberglass.

i definitely need to power wash my engine bay.
