i was thinkin of cuttin out the catalic convertor and just run a 2" pipe from the moter wat yall think

I think you need to learn how to spell...

Why exactly are you wanting to do that? And why is the title "muffler" when your talking about your cat?

if you take your cat out you will need to tune your car. if not, it will throw a check engine code. tuning could cost you $200 and up. so i dont think its worth it. Also, your 2.4 exhaust is already bigger than 2" so you'll be making it smaller if you use 2" pipe. Your car has 2.5" piping between the cat and the rear axle. From the axle back it shrinks to 2.25" Thats what ive read on a few 2.4 exhaust threads. So in conclusion, you are better off leaving it alone OR do it right and buy a real exhaust system designed for your car.
