The reason I'm sticking to the billet style grill is because of the polished lip on the rims.

The grill is the CW Billet, sold via www.cobalt-addiction.com
left it dont have money to paint it somethings wrong with my car got to fix that first
i'm thinking about paint my car gunmetal color like on cobras when i do get money

$1700! the suede paint is $250 max for the entire kit.

if you really want to be old school you can primer the vehicle and use lemon pine sol to buff the paint to the suede shine. thats the way they did it in the 50's. its a solid trick because you would spend $100 on paint and then 3-4 hours with a buffer and pine sol. you would have to reapply every 6-8 months, but it works and the first "true" way for the look.

i have owned a few rat rods in my day and currently working on a volksrod with a V8
