is there any reflection off the windshield from inside at night?? my friend has that problem with his and rarely uses it at night

Ahh man your allowed to have blue lights... all we are allowed are Red and white/clear. I was debating on putting the hideaways in my car.. I have a 6 pack but just not big on drilling 3/4 in holes in my headlight housing lol... Put up some pics where you put yours in your headlights when you get em in, i'm curious to see.

dam that sucks, and yeah i got a glare on the windshield but it doesnt bother me when i drive at night. so i can still drive with it on

yeah we are alloud blue and clear only, and amber but who wants amber?

anywhere online, but i wouldnt suggest it if you dont need it. like me i need it, if you get caught with it and driving around with it on you will be put in jail.

Looks sweet man. I have amber flashers in my headlights and red flashers in my third brake light. I want a red light bar but just havent got around to it. We cant have blue light bars in Wisconsin. VFD FTW.

 

yeah i heard like many states dont want blue, instead they want red. and yeah VFD FTW

What part of Westchester are you in? How many sq. miles does your Dept. cover. Im a volunteer FF in rockland County, we cover 40 square miles, and do about 800 calls a year.

 

we are not big at all, and we get about 900 calls a year. on average 3-4 a day. i will find out how many miles

Just ordered the Whelen Hide Away strobe tubes, i already have a 90 watt 6 outlet power supply so now i have the lightheads comeing so i will have them in once they get here. Time to go to Dream Toyz and let them know that i got everything and they will install them.

Finally got the Hide-a-ways in the headlights, im trying to get a nice video but the cameras im useing cant keep up with the lights, they flash too much, but will get one on asap!!!

 

Hey where did you put the hide-a-ways in your headlights and tails? I have a 6 pack but not sure where to put them, also I was thinking about selling them and getting the led ones instead of the strobes.


Also what siren do you guys have and where have you been mounting/hiding them in your car? I was thinking about hiding mine back with the spare tire and just soldering in some new switches and just running them up to the front beside my 12v plug under the radio. Just post some pics up of your setup inside and out, and i'll do the same.

 

i dont have a siren but i want one, and my 6 pack is hidden under the front driver seat
